Battery Saturday Report - April 2, 2016

Seven gathered Saturday Morning April 2, 2016 to be a blessing to 40 homes in the Elizabethton Community. The area covered was around E Main Street.  We handed out batteries (a reminder to change their home's smoke detector batteries), a copy of the invitation CD, and information about our church was the breakdown:
  • 40 homes visited and received/left packets.
  • 21 homes were very receptive to our visit and were spoken to by a team. Several of which there was evangelistic opportunities.
  • We also did some survey work and found that these were the needs that the individuals listed as needs in our  community:
    • Recovery Groups
    • Parent's Night Out
    • Home Bible Studies
    • Soul Winning
    • The Lord
What We learned?

In this even we learned that those who are most receptive are those who appear to already know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. Please continue to pray for those who we encounter on Saturday, that they would know Christ or be continually conformed to his image.
